Privacy Policy

ForeverLFG (foreverlfg.lovable.app) is a free group finder for World of Warcraft Forever players. This policy explains what data we collect, why we collect it, how we use and protect it, and the choices you have. We keep it short because we collect as little as we can.

1. Data we collect

Account data: your email address and a securely hashed password if you sign up with email.
Google sign-in data: if you choose "Continue with Google", Google shares your email address, your name, your profile picture and a unique Google account ID with us. We only request the basic scopes openid, email and profile. We do not get access to your Gmail, contacts, Drive, calendar or anything else.
Game profile data you enter: in-game character names, class, race, level, faction, ruleset, region, gear and professions.
Activity data: runs you post or join, solo listings, group chat messages, thumbs up or down, reports, and playtime preferences.
Optional settings: your timezone, a Discord webhook link, and browser push subscription details if you turn those on.
Technical data: basic logs such as IP address, browser type and error reports, used to keep the site secure and working.

2. How we use your data

To create and secure your account and sign you in.
To show your characters, runs and listings on the board so other players can group with you.
To send the alerts and reminders you asked for (in-app, browser push or Discord).
To calculate reputation and leader records, and to moderate rule breaking.
To fix bugs and protect the site against abuse.

We do not sell your data, we do not show ads, and we do not use your data to train AI models.

3. What other players can see

Other players only see your in-game character names, game details and ruleset. Your email address, your Google name and picture, and your real identity are never shown to other players.

4. Google user data

ForeverLFG's use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Google data is used only to sign you in and identify your account. It is never shared with third parties, sold, or used for advertising.

5. Sharing and service providers

We share data only with the providers that run the site for us: our hosting and database provider (Lovable Cloud), Google for sign-in, and Discord or your browser's push service if you turn those on. We may disclose data if the law requires it.

6. Storage, security and retention

Data is stored on secured servers with encryption in transit and strict access rules per user.
Solo listings expire after four hours. Unaccepted signups are removed after a run ends.
Account data is kept until you delete your account, then removed within 30 days.

7. Your rights

You can view and edit your profile at any time. You can ask us for a copy of your data, to correct it, or to delete your account and all related data. If you live in the EU or UK, you have rights under the GDPR, including the right to complain to your local data protection authority. You can also revoke ForeverLFG's access from your Google account settings at any time.

8. Cookies

We only use the storage needed to keep you signed in and remember your settings. No tracking or ad cookies.

9. Children

ForeverLFG is not meant for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
